Tim Fromme Memorial Scholarship

ABATE of Indiana’s Motorcycle Safety Division and ABATE Legal Services are proud to provide continued support for this program designed to offer educational assistance to members of ABATE of Indiana and their family members.

One $2,000 scholarship will be awarded in 2009!

Eligibility requirements:

• Member or child of a member of ABATE of Indiana.
• Enrolled in a recognized university, college, or trade school.
  
• Essays must include the applicant's name, address, and phone number. Do not include photographs. Essays and a completed registration form must be received at the ABATE State Office no later than June 22, 2009.

The 2009 essay topic: “Motorcycle Safety Defined.”

Essays will be judged on the following criteria:

• Overall quality.
  
• Commitment to personal responsibility and accountability.
  
• Involvement in ABATE and/or the general community.
  
• Passion for motorcycling.
  
• Humor.
  
• Devotion to motorcycle safety.
  
• Environmental concerns.
  
• Educational issues.

The scholarship recipient will be featured in the ABATE “Hoosier Motorcyclist” magazine, and will stay in contact with ABATE for further articles.
