Come to the Fall Seminar
BARGERSVILLE, IN --- Every Fall, ABATE of Indiana conducts the Fall Seminar and Officer Training. We've done this for many years and people always leave feeling informed and enthusiastic.
Our volunteer officers (several hundred, directors, county reps, secretaries, treasurers, LINC reps and the like) are expected (it's actually required, but I hate that word) to attend so we can make certain that everyone holding an office in the organization gets the same information and can carry a consistent message. We generally have quite a bit of fun as we are often very creative in developing methods to get our point across. Additionally, we host a social event in the evening where everyone can get together, enjoy some music, have a drink and digest the days events while spending quality time with our ABATE family.
As with most "conferences", one of the most valuable components is the ability to network with people that share similar interests. This is an ideal opportunity for members that are new to the motorcyclists' rights movement to pick the brains of veterans with many years of experience. being able to share what works (and what doesn't) with each other is one of the things that has made ABATE of Indiana so successful through the years. We try to incorporate just the right amount of old tried and true pieces from our past with new and innovative ideas to help us grow. There will be history lessons as well as a look into the future.
If you want to find out more about how, or why, ABATE of Indiana works, this is the perfect place. We will have information available concerning all of our programs including: ABATE Legal Services, the Motorcycle Safety Division, the Legislative Information Network Committee, insurance coverage from ISU/Underwood Agency, awareness and share the road programs, Accidental Death and Dismemberment insurance policy from American Income Life, ABATE of Indiana presents the Children's Motorcycle Adventure featuring the Tiny Tots Riding Experience, our involvement with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Red Bull Indianapolis GP, our relationship with the Motorcycle Riders Foundation and much, much more.
Plans and hints regarding successful events as well as protecting the organization from a legal perspective will also be addressed. Participants receive resources that serve as a reference is assisting them and making their job easier. This same information also helps members better understand what we're all about and why ABATE truly exists.
The Fall Seminar is also where we introduce new programs and offerings. If you want to find out the latest and greatest, while also having a lot of fun, the Fall Seminar is the place.
